  •  It says a "roomful" of ammo (7+ / 0-)

That's more than buying in bulk.

    That's stockpiling.

I blog about my daughter with autism at her website

Buying in bulk for savings on pistol ammo size A
And then in the smaller pistol size B
Don't forget the practice pistol size C
And then there's grandpa's old gun size D
A - 9mm - most common handgun caliber on the planet
B - 40sw - was (?is still?) the FBI standard caliber
C - 22lr - the most common small practice caliber
      D - .45acp - the caliber that's been around for more than a century

Then there is buying in bulk for the shotgun...
Some shells of slugs for deer
Some shells of 00buck for deer
Some shells of X for smaller fowl
Some shells of Y for larger fowl
Some shells of magnum Z for geese - those bastards are sturdy!
Some skeet shot for clay discs

Then there is buying in bulk for the AR mentioned
      Some .223 for practice
Some 5.56 for tennessee pest control, like coyotes or fox or boar

Then there is buying in bulk for the larger game
Some 30.06 for grandpa's garand that kept his ass alive as he waded ashore at normandy

So, may I offer you some worcestershire sauce for your foot? Your comment about a roomful being stockpiling is obviously born of ignorance, so at this point you should realize just how un-tasty that ankle really is.
