  •  why not use the USPS to send a campaign-style (1+ / 0-)

flyer to each and every household to the IRS's list of taxpayers with a bullet list of, say, 25 benefits of Obamacare that too many Americans know nothing about?

Why not? I have called, written, texted, tweeted, e-mailed--practically sent this suggestion by carrier pigeon to the Administration and Health and Human Services.  I have left messages on voice mails of supposed "outreach" personnel.

    Crickets after every one.

Their assumption that people will get online and investigate Obamacare is delusional, yet they won't use one of the most reliable methods of reaching every household: the United States Postal Service and the IRS.

    It's very frustrating.

    •  This is a great idea but it will cost $ and (0+ / 0-)

it would probably take a real effort to get this funded.

But I think that it is worth the effort to try to get this done because it would help quite a bit.    And I have some other ideas how you can get your idea out there.

Have you tried starting an on line petition to the "we the people" website.  it seems to me that this would be a way to get the White House to notice if you are able to get enough signatures.

You may also want to diary this idea so that more of the community will be aware of it.  (and if you decide to do a petition reference it in your diary so people on this website can sign it)

You may also want to e-mail it to broadcasters like Rachel Maddow or columnists such as Eugene Robinson to see if any of them pick it up.
