    One is tempted to wonder why, if you find this site so unsatisfactory, you keep coming back here instead of spending your time on other websites that you might find more to your liking.

      likeminded folks that were Dems but not happy with them could coalesce and try to effect change. The site has changed in that it now puts support of party over fixing party.

      Won't leave until I'm kicked out. This was the 2nd political site I joined and I have been here faithfully through the turmoil.

        I quit DKos for 6 months or so awhile back. I had developed perceptions and concerns similiar to those you've expressed.
        On a day after I quit, my new daily routine was interrupted for a few hours, and thru boredom I checked in here to have something to read.
        I decided to re-engage with the site because I DO often find thoughtful and kind offerings here.
        Like you, I'll stay too, until I get kicked or change my mind about hanging out here.

        I can't say I think this diary was the greatest idea I ever saw but I support the idea that people should say what they really think.
