but the Republicans in our state legislature are against Obamacare, of course, including the Medicaid expansion I believe, so I'm not sure what Gov. Nixon's options are, he may be in favour, I just don't know.  I'm covered under the federal Ryan White programme (for HIV), it's complicated to explain but this is also in conjunction with the Missouri Health Pool which will be ending and replaced by the ObamaCare exchanges.  I will be meeting with my case manager in two weeks to apply for ObamaCare; I know for me not much will change other than the paperwork as the Ryan White programme is still in effect.

Hopefully at my meeting I will be able to attain general information about ObamaCare in  Missouri and I will be sure to post.  I'm thinking about writing a diary about my first encounter with ObamaCare and detail my experience of applying under the new law for the continuation of my Ryan White coverage and I hope also to include information about how ObamaCare is being implemented in Missouri in broader/general terms as well.

as far as I'm aware MO is a federal exchange because the legislature blocked Nixon's efforts to set up a state exchange.   I'm not sure where things stand with medicaid expansion; it was definitely blocked too but (as in many GOP-controlled states) I think there are now negotiations.

the Medicaid expansion; I'm not sure about the exchanges, whether state or federal, although one would think that if Kentucky is setting up their own exchanges we would too;  I guess I'll find in out in about two weeks; looking forward to reading about your experience.
