no gain.  Dems don't like to fight rough, it's why they're dems, it's also why they often make sense and still fail.  Americans need to fight for what's right--not let the other side fight for what's wrong.  I hate petitions, people think they've "done" something for the cause--they haven't.  They've been mollified--stifled--tricked.

      Actions speak louder than petitions.

just sign petitions. Most importantly, they need to vote for more and better Democrats!

The people out there really need to get organized.

Like back in the sixties. It was more than just people out in the streets.

It was an organization of citizens, each with their own little rebellions going on.

A lot like Dkos. I was wondering where all the hippies went. Then I found you all.

        Trillions Of  Small Rebellions.

ie I haven't eaten grapes since the sixties. Lately, I remembered that I like them; (red grapes are really sweet),

Now, I can't because I have no gallbladder and they're too acidic.

Boycotting was worth it (even if I forgot to go off the boycott). Think of all the ddt, etc I didn't ingest. Guess I wasn't missing much anyway.

        •  fail (0+ / 0-)

Occupy Wall St failed because of its lack of a formal organization--lack of a coordinated effort--lack of a single charismatic spokesperson.  Same reason Utopian societies failed--good theory--obvious benefits--no strong leadership.

As for boycotts, first I boycotted Walmart--then I boycotted Target--added Chick-fil-A--I need an organization to steer me, and all other liberals,  week to week.  My local grocery chains are not better to their employees than is Walmart, yet get rewarded by the boycotting.  No matter how informed we are, we need direction, we need concerted action, we need to cause change in board rooms.

          Actions speak louder than petitions.
