    We don't know that. No one knows that except Miranda, Greenwald, Poitras and possibly British authorities, none of whom have acknowledged this.

    However, given that a 64GB MicroSD card is the size of a pinky nail and about as thick, I really don't think it's going to be that hard to smuggle a lot of data across borders. The hard part is the human factor. You have to use someone whom no one will suspect, who if stopped won't have any obvious tells.

    This is, needless to say, potentially a HUGE national security problem in terms of actual terrorists doing this, making sweeping up all internet traffic kind of pointless, and stopping journalist couriers kind of silly. As always, the most important kind of intelligence is human intelligence, not technology short cuts, let alone police state thuggery. Name one country for which that's worked.
