    Miranda was being targeted for who he was. I'm sure he was snatched getting off the airplane. Someone without a known connection to Greenwald or Snowdon would not usually be scrutinized by CIQ. The US forces all arriving international passengers to go through CIQ, including international to international and international to domestic transfers, while most of Europe does not. Miranda was an international to international transfer which, unless the Brits have changed their procedures, would have him screened in Berlin.
