  •  You're basically asking me to rebut his entire (0+ / 0-)

body of work.  Because if I just do it in one case (which, btw, I've already been doing elsewhere in this thread), you'll say, well, that's just one article, it's unfair to smear a journalist based on one article.  When I point out that people (myself included) have done this over and over on DK and elsewhere, you respond, haha, you've got nothing to stand on.  You're putting me in a situation that's literally impossible to win unless I start a two-week project going through each and every Greenwald article.

And thinking a supposed "journalist" is a hack is not known as "bias", it's known as "thinking a supposed 'journalist' is a hack".  I think of Greenwald like we both think of Judith Miller.

Já þýðir já. Nei þýðir nei. Hvað er svona erfitt við það?

    •  Perhaps you can point me with a link (0+ / 0-)

I've read every comment you made on this diary and don't see a reasoned and fact-based rebuttal anywhere.

      •  Really? (0+ / 0-)

Missed this (and its followup)?  Or take his prior masterwork, the whole "They detained my boyfriend** to get back at me!" stuff.  Talking about how the detention of Miranda was just some way to intimidate Greenwald (noting the "It's All About ME!" stuff?), saying that even the Mafia wouldn't do that, etc... not bothering to mention that Miranda was transferring classified documents across international borders for him, which is illegal in the UK even for journalists to possess - and Miranda's not even a journalist).  Yeah, because that wee little detail is totally irrelevant to the story, right?

        Greenwald is an indefensible hack.

** - And hey, while we're on the subject of Greenwald's lack of journalistic morals, I'll just add the fact that Miranda was a teenager when they started dating.  Greenwald was nearly 40.  But I guess that shouldn't be surprising for a guy who was at the time running porn websites.

Yeah, Greenwald is a scumbag in more ways than one.

        •  Come to think of it, it's a rather disturbing (0+ / 0-)

trend how many of the popular wild-eyed conspiracy theorists are like this.  Another example - Craig Murray, who left his wife for a lapdancer he met while sampling the strip clubs in Tashkent - the latter to whom he introduced himself to for the first time by giving her a pile of cash including his business card on which he'd penned an invitation to become his mistress.  And in case you think that's a smear, he writes about that in his autobiography without any sense of there being anything wrong with it.

But anyway, back on topic.  You've got Greenwald's two most recent articles covered.  How many more do you need?
