    don't go "up" or "over" to Maine, you go "down" to Maine. Which is why people get confused by "Down East": in order to get to the end of the many, many fjord-like peninsulas in Maine, you have to drive south to get there. But if you look at a map of the Maine coast, you'll find it doesn't go north as much as it goes east. But all the good stuff is south of US 1.

    I resent that. I demand snark, and overly so -- Markos Moulitsas.
