I think you're on to something.  As seniors become a larger part of the voting population due to aging baby-boomers, they (OK, we) become less monolithic. They (we) are winnable.

The trick with younger voters is two-fold: help them realize the stakes - voting rights, reproductive choice, a living wage - and help them find a way to fit voting into overloaded, over-stressed lives. I swear that bugging busy moms and dads half to death in 2012 really did provide the winning margin for President Obama. We may never be able to rival Presidential years for turnout, but if we can work that same magic in 2014 I think we really can keep the Senate and retake the house.

The past 50 years we: -Ended Jim Crow. -Enacted the Voting Rights Act. -Attained reproductive rights (contraceptive & abortion). -Moved toward pay equity. Republicans want to take our country back. I WON'T GO BACK!
