    talk about the cost of people not having health insurance?  People lacking access to preventative care, until they get so sick they have to go the emergency room, running up bills that they can't pay, so that these costs are borne by the rest of society?

      Those employees who for some reason do not take advantage of the company healthcare plan probably do need healthcare at some point,and where do they get it?

      Delta loves that these folks might have their healthcare picked up by the taxpayers.

      These companies are using Obamacare as a convenient excuse to slash their own expenses to boost their bottom line.

      UPS will save 60 million by having spouses of white collar workers use their own companies not really blame UPS, but they will save that 60 million, and blame Obamacare? Not right.

      •  I bet most Delta employees who don't sign up for (0+ / 0-)

        insurance are already covered by their spouse's insurance--and unless their spouse is with UPS, that is unlikely to change and impact Delta's costs.

        Some people fight fire with fire. Professionals use water.
