    Nutter comments

He is still nonsensically calling for PFT to make concessions from an already substandard contract and he's not verbally fighting on behalf of the schools.

The criticism is totally fair as Nutter has embraced the neo-liberal garbage taking place in the school system.

    •  Yep. PFT should totally NOT be forced to make (4+ / 0-)

concessions.  On Corbett's part, it is very much about breaking the largest teachers' union in the nation (or so I am told by a close friend who is a member.  Will check.) and hurting Philadelphians.  Not sure why, but the Bamatucky part of PA hates Philadelphia.  Okay, I know why, but never mind.

My friend's sister has a teaching job in the very near suburbs of Bucks County and makes WAY more.  But my friend, who has a law degree and a masters, believes in teaching those children who need to be taught and inspired by teachers who believe in the mission of teaching.
