    So why haven't all anti-gay laws in New Mexico been struck down under this provision long ago?
    With the exception of a DOMA tribal law by the Navajo nation (a more complicated set of circumstances), I don't think we HAVE any anti-gay laws on record.  Even the invalidation of the marriages of the Sandoval 64, almost a decade ago now, were based on a ruling by the Attorney General, not on legislation or court decision.  

    Discriminatory practices have continued out of CUSTOM and out of inertia because there was no groundswell to challenge and displace them.  But it's not law we need to displace now, it is only habit!
