    These people think that the only way for others less fortunate to receive the benefits of a modern society such as healthcare, food, shelter, and so on, is when they themselves decide to bestow it on them.  It's great that Paul does this for those people.  I'm sure they appreciate it.  It must make him feel really good inside.  

    But the better good is when all the less fortunate have the basics of said modern society available to them.  Not just when someone more fortunate decides to give it to them in some sort of whimsical random thought process, but when they need it, just like I get (I am employed and have health insurance), just like Rand Paul gets.

      Paul helping others pro bono?

      If so, woulde you also oppose lawyers who work pro bono?

      People who volunteer as reading tutors at their kids' schools?
