    Oh, so it wasn't a legitimate rape. Well, that's all right then. Give the man a medal.

    Except that he was a teacher, for goodness sake. It doesn't matter how much older than her age she looked, this guy knew she was 14 and troubled, unlike someone who might have met her casually. And he'd been in trouble previously for inappropriate touching of other girls. How much more guilty could he possibly be? And yet, if he'd completed that sexual-offender treatment course, he was going to have the case dismissed??? So he could go and seduce some more pupils?

    How very convenient for the rapist and for the "it isn't rape if she wasn't beaten half to death in the process" judge that she killed herself before the case came to trial. After all, she was just a troubled teen. No great loss, right? Good grief...
