    Regardless of forensic evidence, there's nothing that can conclusively prove that anyone inside Syria launched the attack, much less which side.  Considering the number of military defections to the rebels, a stolen weapon or weapons could easily be turned against the regime.

    I agree with your premise that a rush to judgment is a bad idea, but I don't think there's much chance of calling off the dogs now.  It seems to be less a question of "if" than "when" at this point.

    I'll believe corporations are people when one comes home from Afghanistan in a body bag.
