    Appointed Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court.  He should apologize to the Nation for that travesty.  I am well aware of his declining health, he actually did many fine things as President and I wish him well.  His son was an awful President.  No point in complaining about the past.  It is time to start making recurring monthly payments to the DNC.  The best revenge is to win at the polls.

      ...who demonstrate, by words, acts, votes, and consistent pro-99% stances, that they merit our support.
      Otherwise, we have neither leverage, nor basis for complaint, when we get... our very own Greenspan, Larry.Summers, who fought for the repeal of Glass-Steagall and against the rational, necessary controls on derivatives and other exotic (now more accurately known as "toxic") assets that might have prevented the credit collapse and ensuing Great Recession, from which we are still struggling to fully emerge;
      ...a "grand bargain" in which we condemn seniors to poverty, to support even more.upward redistribution of wealth, and even less opportunity for the poor, working-class, and middle-class -- and let the Publicans paint Obama as the villain, and themselves as the defenders of the beleaguered middle-class, in the bargain!
      ...a Congress, administration, that won't even put a pro-middle-class budget on the table;
      ...a Justice Department that brags about the highest rates of deportation of immigrants, the highest rates of pursuing whistleblowers, and that.breaks their own word to pursue legal pot-growers in states that have legalized it -- but has yet to charge anyone with malfeasance in any of the crimes of the I-bank abuses, let alone the foreclosure frauds, that defined the aforementioned financial disaster and its aftermath;
      ...and that's just off the top head.
      It'll take more than "more Democrats" to solve the.problems that have been 50 years in the making, and in which too many Dem's have been just as complicit as Publicans.
      We need better Dem's -- and we clearly won't get them by trusting to the DNC to give them to us.
