Eleven states DO regulate private, individual sales in one manner or another (such as background checks).  And those 11 states are some of the more populous States in the US (for example, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, California, etc), so a large percentage of the US population is actually covered by at least a State law that restricts or regulates private sales.

The sequester is the new Republican immigration reform plan. Make things so bad here in the US that no one will want to live here.

from cars & pick-ups going down RTs 81 & 390 & 15 south to the Pennsylvania Gun Shows from upstate NY.

President Obama traveled the same route last week when he went on a bus from Syracuse to Binghamton to Scranton, PA.

He managed to leave Auburn around 10:30 AM, stop for soccer with a high school along the way, do a town hall at SUNY Binghamton and still be in Scranton by 5 PM.

With improved 4 lane highways it's gotten to be a quick trip.

      •  Then what is the use of any state gun law? (2+ / 0-)

Are you arguing that any state gun law is ineffective?  Do we stop passing individual state laws because people will circumvent them anyway?
