  •  Even my heterosexual sibling got married recently (0+ / 0-)

    just to be sure they and their (now legal) spouse could be secure WRT end of life issues, which they may not have had despite being an unmarried couple for a few decades because the state they live in doesn't recognize "common law marriage" relationships.  
       Sad that law is needed to overrule law that sometimes prevents human dignity (and common sense) when it's most needed.
