  •  Oh, I don't disagree with you at all (4+ / 0-)

You are quite correct about the impression left with the casual viewier, but whether deliberate or inadvertent his actual statements are not at odds with is wife being away at her father's and this particular Sunday not following the usual family activity of mentoring, shopping, cooking, etc.

    •  I think it was deliberate because (5+ / 0-)

I believe that everything George said, and had said on his behalf, was scripted so as to leave the listeners/readers/viewers with the impression that George was a meek, gentle person who would never hurt anyone and who just happened to kill an unarmed teenager.

I believe he wanted the viewers to think he had been home, with his wife, mentoring kids and wanted viewers to think Zimmerman just happened to go to the store and happened to see Trayvon and happened to follow Trayvon by car and happened to search for Trayvon after Trayvon ran away from him and just happened upon Trayvon and just happened to get punched and just happened to kill Trayvon ... you know God's will and all that. (snark)

I think, too, that George Zimmerman is a paranoid psychopath whose parents have never gotten him the medical treatment he needed and it was just a matter of time before his paranoia caused him to kill someone who was not committing any crime.

Those are a few of the reasons why I think Zimmerman deliberately mislead the viewers.

    •  my next question is: Can Robert Zimmerman Sr (1+ / 0-)
