      "Treason" usually means seeking to overthrow the federal government by force. These guys, as I understand it, are just declaring that on certain topics, the state can pick and choose which federal laws to obey.

      The medical marijuana and decriminalization state laws are basically saying the same thing -- and on that one, the feds have backed down. I suppose that's grounds for the right-wingers to think that the Feds might back down on guns and health care too.
