    If these idiot banks and repo companies sincerely want to do a good job, they would post a notice on the house prior to doing the job?  If they've chosen the wrong house, it gives the owner time to let them know.  

    There's no lack of common sense solutions to this problem, but neither the banks nor the repo company are motivated to get it right.

      they have to.

      I've seen foreclosure notices, and I have a friend who went through it. They were notified, and told how long they had to vacate, and IIRC there was a notice posted. ON THE HOUSE.

      No notice, no repo. Pretty simple.

      And if they put it on the wrong house, you have time to get it rectified.
