I'd be curious to see the numbers.

Because it seems like Wisconsin is much like many other states; strong democratic numbers in urban centers like Milwaukee and Madison, and really strong Republican numbers in suburbs surrounding Milwaukee.  But, there are also fairly liberal, or at least close, counties out away from Madison and Milwaukee, too.

The real problem is that there just aren't any statewide Democrats who are getting their names out there.  Ron Kind is a good example; he's got a good gig in his House seat and would probably do well statewide, but he's probably not that well known.

He's a corporatist who sells us out all the time.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

That's what we're talking about here.

And the bottom line is that the bench is thin.  Painfully thin.

        •  Marginally better maybe (0+ / 0-)

but he'd sell us out in a cold second.

          •  Maybe that's the problem (0+ / 0-)

Wisconsin Democrats are too busy fighting and back-biting.

I mean, it's not like Walker and Republicans are ruining the state or anything.

            •  The problem is that there is so much (1+ / 0-)

that needs to be reversed.  We need someone unwilling to shrug their shoulders and just move along.  And that's what we'll be getting either on social issues with Vinehout or on worker, school, and poverty issues with Burke.

There needs to be a contrast with Walker - not conciliation and excuse mongering for some of his policies and legislative agenda.
