  •  That would leave only about 40% employed (0+ / 0-) best.  Not everybody is ever going to be able to pass calculus or college level sciences.  

    Advanced manufacturing is more that simple hand assembly.  Getting 70% of the population an associates degree or its job training equivalent is probably as good as it is possible to get.  Without growing, building, and fixing things, we will always be dealing with chronic un- or under-employment.
