    to use making as a prep for algebra. My daughter did a free summer program where they made windmills and similar sorts of structures that was led by her math teacher. I wish all the kids had come for it.

      I know that while we have two 3D printers, students have to be in a particular course to make use of them.  And some of my STEM seniors complain that their STEM instruction has only been about 10% hands on.  It really should be more.
