    ...it is my primary concern. Frankly, I want more people covered even if that means more $$ to the insurance companies.

    We knew that one of the weaknesses of the ACA was the involvement of the insurance companies. We also know the loss-ratio is now regulated and that some consumers have seen rebate checks as a result.

    I am also willing to see how things turn out after full implementation before I go making doom and gloom predictions about what the insurance companies will or will not do.

    One thing is clear is that on the Left, there is a clear and distinct divide. On one side, the people and getting quality access to everyone is the ultimate concern. On the other side, the insurance companies and killing them off is the primary concern and always an excellent choice for a diary.

    The ironic thing is that the first group which is preoccupied by saving lives that otherwise would have been lost, wants the same things as the other group. The difference is in emphasis and sequencing.

    The politicians may be bought, and the system corrupt, but it is our duty to fix these things.
