    Malware is interesting stuff. A lot of it is very similar to useful programs. RATS, for example, are similar what computer techs use when they fix your computer. And what it does is sometimes different than what was intended.

    So, what if hackers take malware the NSA has distributed--the best malware that money can buy-- and adapt it to some other purpose? Like bringing down the NASDAQ.

    Or what if the next Stuxnet isn't quite as confined? Let's say that it accidentally infects switches on the electrical grid.

    What we ought to be doing is building a strong, fast, safe Internet and trusting primarily in the power of our ideas to change adversaries.
