credit because of the sheer difficulty. I have a lot of friends in Georgia who experience this.

I've never understood how a sane person could live among those people. The fact that some Dems choose to do it should give them a mark of sheer courage.

I know I couldn't do it. You ask me to live in Missouri or Georgia and I would be saying HELLLLL NO!

    •  pity those of living in SC, too! (1+ / 0-)

at least Georgia isn't as crazy as birther-land SC.

we libs are trying very hard to change things around here but there are ignorants voting against gays, gun control, and think Dems will take away their right to their religious worship

Don't knock it until you've tried it.   Some of "those people", are pretty nice.

It might behoove you to think in terms of We people, long as we are all in this boat together.

      Yo.

In the time it took Adam Lanza to reload, eleven children escaped. What if...

kick a hole in a window, but they can be nice people, even likeable.

Thing is, if you give up on them, then there is NO communication and no hope for it either.

It's a strange zen like state, you have to let go of that emotional investment of trying to change their mind, and simply communicate with them and be an example for them.

Only the individual can change their mind, all you can do is provide them with options. But without some kind of mutual respect, that won't happen much.

And I do understand how hard that can be. I live in a red state, and I deal with this frequently. I get just as angry and frustrated as anyone else here, and it sometimes shows on my comments. I try very hard, in real-time, to be respectful and kind whenever possible. Not because I agree with them, but because that is how I would want to be treated.

Gentlemen, congratulations. You're everything we've come to expect from years of government training (Zed, MIB).
