    and why some speculate as to just what could be done in Syria is that the country has significant stocks of really horrible chemical weapons, it's currently a battlefield in flux, and some of the players would gladly use those chemical weapons on our allies or even us should they get their hands on them. This is not a small problem.

      How did those chemical weapons get there? When did they get there?  What did we do to stop them from getting across the borders?

      There are many, many questions, none of which can be answered by bombing and a ground invasion.

        don't really help us out in this situation. The weapons are there and as this disaster goes one they just might be up for grabs. The only question that matters now is can someone, anyone devise a scheme for insuring they do not escape some sort of control. I'm recommending bombing anyone but we'd be pretty foolish not to discuss possible moves to prevent a nightmare.

        Frankly, I see no options but I hope the people we hired to make decisions are coming up with possibilities.
