    You can assume that both parties know who their likely voters are.  The models are getting to be very, very good at predicting this.

      because I live in Michigan, but I always vote that way. During election season, I never get calls from Democratic campaigns, they know they have me, but I get dozens of calls from Republicans. They know. I do not know how they know, but they know.

        My guess is that you are either tagged as "persuadeable/votes consistantly" by the GOP, or you live in an area where your neighbors tend to vote GOP, and the model is less good, since they're clearly wasting their time by calling you.

        Sounds like the Democrats think you are a reliable supporter and a reliable voter, which would indeed give you a bit of peace from that end.
