That should tell you everything you need to know.

And you are right, it is just that way.

The place was utterly dark—the oubliette, as I suppose, of their accursed convent.

    •  Thought you were joking in reference to (5+ / 0-)

Frogmore Stew which is a seafood boil popular in SC, but turns out you weren't joking:

      Frogmore, SC

and how interesting and pertinent this:

Frogmore is renowned for being home to the Penn School Historic District, known as Penn Center, a National Historic Landmark. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. studied and lectured at Penn Center during the formative years of his career as a civil rights leader. The museum at Penn Center is a noted cultural attraction and attracts tourists worldwide who are also interested in learning more about this region of the coastal Southeastern United States.
I've been in that general area often as my b-i-l lives in Hilton Head and I've never so much as seen a road sign or even heard a reference to Frogmore.  How about that!?!

and the history you cite is indeed interesting and pertinent.

I won't be more specific here about my friend as it's a small place, but he isn't the only male Republican with a job in Frogmore who is sick and tired is this crap.

And that tells you everything you need to know as well.

I may have to wander up that way to visit the Penn Center and see if I can sample some authentic Frogmore Stew.

I'm so glad I spotted your comment today.

I don't think he's that far removed form the possibility at this point. Though he's a genuinely decent person, so I suspect he will arrive at that destination on his own.

Frogmore is a beautiful place, very deep rural with that island sultry moss.

I'm glad you saw my comment as well. Thanks!
