  •  Nonsense - no rational reason to believe that. (0+ / 0-)

        •  People like you, are the reason liberal is (0+ / 0-)

a pejorative and why progressive soon will be. There is no evidence of that either, save being conscious.

          •  Well, bald assertion of afactual baseless (0+ / 0-)

drivel fails you so you resort to argumentum ad hominem, IOW, you have nothing substantive or rational to say on the matter.

So called common sense is seldom either, and after the fact punishment as a deterrent, especially in golbal affairs, has a truly piss poor record, if you actually look at history and reality a bit instead of the sloganeering that every warmonger since the dawn of time has tried to foise ott on the public.

            •  If proliferation of WMDs means (0+ / 0-)

worldwide M utually A ssured D estruction in the hands of cheap dictators like Assad, you would be OK with that? You truly are MAD. We in this country have used WMDs, if we give our blessing by doing nothing [that's game over], we can't pull back from that in the future when you decide to protect some people you deem worthy. And after the fact punishment as a deterrent, sounds like the Justice system. Should we not adjudicate any wrong doing now? Why is it so difficult to simple say you don't care about any injustice that doesn't move you personally? The mealy-mouthed excuses for allow this injustice to go unchallenged, are truly unprepossessing.

              •  Read history, don't lecture people from a (0+ / 0-)

position of ignorance. Also don't attribute ludicrous strawmen to people.
