    a handful of times, but I'm constantly homesick for it. I feel a similar way about Pittsburgh, but Austin is so much better. And it has Salt Lick. Oh, Salt Lick...how I miss you...

      Almost everyone I know loves it.

      Franklin BBQ is the best in the city, but you have to wait in line starting around 9:30 to get linch, and when they're out they're out. Who has time for that? Mostly the runners in the law offices, etc. It's a shame. Sooooo good.

      The place was utterly dark—the oubliette, as I suppose, of their accursed convent.
