    I feel sorry for all those dying because of a egotistical maniac they have as a ruler.  It feels wrong to me to support doing nothing, but it's what I have to endorse.  The war there has nothing to do with us, it's obvious that the UN is going to turn their backs as well (which I think they do way too much), Russia and China have blocked our way as they tend to do in these situations, and sadly we don't have the will, the money, the public support, or the need to do anything.

    This whole situation just makes me feel dirty, no matter what we do.

      We can step up and take care of millions of refugees.

      We can exert diplomatic pressure on Iran and Russia to secure Syria's chemical weapons, and we can do it with carrots as well as sticks.

      Like promising to recognize Iran's fundamental right to enrich uranium for energy and medical purposes if they help get Assad to agree to lock that shit down.
