Most recently, they didn't even load the A-10 with DU rounds for Libya (It's one of only two weapon platforms that uses DU rounds.)

Last I heard they were working on a tungsten penetrator for tank rounds to replace it for tanks as well.

assert abandoning DU & White Phosphorous, right?

I mean - when questioned about those particular items - the answer is rather coy.  Though the U.S. finally admitted to using White Phosphorous (after denying it) as an offensive weapon in Iraq.

PS:  I'm aware they are looking at alternatives - and good for them;  But until they publicly affirm they will not use such weapons (DU & WP as offensive weapons).. call me jaded, but a lack of a clear answer to me means they haven't yet decided against their continued use.

The excuses for Obama's behavior have long since passed the point of predictability neccessary to qualify as an absurd production of Kabuki Theater.
