    We, along with several other powers, sent troops to occupy part of Russia. It was only when it became obvious that the public was in no mood for a full scale war to overthrow the Bolsheviks that Britain and the U.S. grudgingly withdrew their forces. Our intervention in the Chinese revolution consisted of massive aid to the Nationalists and protecting Taiwan with our navy.
