    as the sole driver of healthcare costs.

    Other factors, such as cost of medical devices and supplies, cost of pharmaceuticals, lack of access to preventative care, failure to follow end-of-life care directives and higher administrative cost of insurance companies vs. single payer systems drive healthcare costs upward.  Defensive medicine hardly dominates the landscape.

    A little time spent on a search engine is much more helpful than repeating right-wing talking points.
