    absolutely.  And I am not about denying fact.  In my view, you need to acknowledge that fact and work differently.  I don't have the sense that this administration has - particularly on economics.  Work for success in spite of the ludicrous, childish, knee jerk opposition instead of being seemingly satisfied and perhaps even proud of the weak success you have had.  Yeah for us, most people aren't living in holes in the ground!  When the response is a sophisticated version of "it's too hard" it is a little tiring.

    I think that the obvious nature of the GOP today should give the Dems an immediate and overwhelming victory in most elections.  And this is not just because they approach nearly every single issue in the complete opposite direction from me but they work tirelessly against the bulk of the people who vote for them. I don't want to see Dems operating as if that is the only thing they have to do - not be Republicans.  

    And yet, somehow the above is not the case, not even close to the case.  And I don't know if it's because the President and most of the Dems in office act as if they need be nothing more than not GOP but I believe that acting in such a way doesn't help.
