I disagree with you but I was reacting to an offensive comment accusing me of wantng to  greenlight chemical weapons use

That said, diplomacy is NOT doing nothing!!

And it's not like there can not be military strike in a month.

Stop pretending that strikes now or never.

And I'd appreciate the same courtesy you expect-I said nothing about having to strike "now or never" so don't say that I did.

In fact,I said I am undecided and it is true. If pushed, I would say I lean slightly against. That said, I find neither decision to sit well morally and I would appreciate more circumspection in the debate.

One reason I am still undecided is because I don't yet have an answer for what happens if we do nothing and more chemical weapon attacks occur? It seems to me if we say "no", then how do we come back later and try to stop further gassing? I would hate to establish a norm where sarin is now the new assault rifle or C-4.

As far as diplomacy, that has been tried. I am genuinely afraid that if we go down this road and it fails, then what? I see the those who are arguing for a broader intervention to be strengthen by such a failure.

The politicians may be bought, and the system corrupt, but it is our duty to fix these things.
