    Dear Senator Warner:

    Confirming Larry Summers to chair the Federal Reserve is a mistake. A strong ego is not competence. His record is strongly poor. Thomas M. Hoening is a far better and more knowledgeable candidate.

    Please publicly inform President Obama that Thomas M. Hoening is a more qualified candidate and that you do not support a Summers nomination.

    The financial supermarket for the FIRE sector has failed. Specialization in financial services where each function must pay its own way and therefore be responsible, is the way to go.

    I'm sure your business experience confirms that.
