    during the first Iraq war a video of a smart bomb went down a ventilator shaft. it was a round table of really smart commentators, and Charlie whats his name, the old hand, practically snorted through his nose in glee. lost control.  I thought about the 19 year old conscript in the room where it went off.

    then there is Obama joking about dropping a drone on the boys who want to date his daughter.

    something about power that makes people lose their feeling for other people.

    drones are a cost effective way of generating enough new terrorists that calls to cut military spending will fail.
