    revolutions do not succeed and end up with further violence and sometimes civil war. The US compared to Canada is a prime example. Canada surpassed the US sooner in democratic rights which also included women and minorities without the appalling loss of life that occurred in the US.

    Libya is still under UNSMIL, UN Chapter Seven, until March 2014 so the west could go back in. Doubtful they would do that. Everyone in Libya would pick up arms against the foreigners.

    There are now calls for the removal of current government leaders.
