    there are lots of words that are neutral in denotation but are only used as perjoratives.

    Reasonable suspicion? How can being wrong 98.6% of the time ever be reasonable?

      a place to use it to cement the mental connection properly. And, actually, I think you may have invented a new verbal concept, which is even better.

      Dysphemism creep would apply, among other things, to the language of bigotry. As commonly used pejoratives are policed out of the language, more neutral words and phrases are substituted, and over time become tainted by that same bigotry.

      At least half the future I've been expecting hasn't gotten here yet. Sigh.... (Yes, there's gender bias in my name; no, I wasn't thinking about it when I signed up. My apologies.)
