Sounds like this test is in your field of expertise. So you probably already know a lot of the answers to the questions that will be asked. If an essay question, think of as many facts that answer it and fake the rest.

Since you were able to figure out the course instructions, you're half way there.

I am not a technology person and do not have one clue as to what you are even talking about. The only part I got was, test.

So see, you're way ahead of me.

    All the best. You'll pass.

Remember high school when we never even opened a book and passed?

We'll I don't know about you. Talking about me, who slept through class and passed. But that was the sixties.

I remember using the table of contents from an exhaustive historical work to serve as my long-lost notes for a history exam that I aced...and doing very well comparing and contrasting two books I hadn't read to the major themes in another book I hadn't read - complete with relevant excerpts and page references - so I'm hoping to put those skills to use.

And, of course, hoping to eventually actually be able to access the real course material so I can ~learn~ the software, instead of just trying to learn how to pass the test...

Hmmmm...."teaching to the test" - that phrase, and all the negative connotations it brings up for me...that seems to be the situation I find myself in, in spite of my best efforts - and I certainly don't enjoy the fact that if I do well on the test and pass, I won't be one whit more knowledgeable about how to actually ~use~ the product effectively, efficiently or confidently.

I'd say there's a lesson in that, but it's one that most folks here already know. :/
