But I will say this: if the GOP doesn't radically retool in the next year or so, including tossing  the entire Tea Party out on its ear and making it clear they're not welcome, it won't be anyone electable in the general election.
And they haven't really retooled or rebranded yet.

I suspect their rhetoric and actions will overcome much of their gerrymanderin next year, and in 2016.

    •  I think the GOP is already in for a hard 2014 (1+ / 0-)

While Peter King prepares to run for President, he better watch out for his own seat in Congress.

Maybe King will resign his seat in 2014 to focus his presidential run.  That would be good news for McCain indeed!

I've heard that Steve Israel has told the DNC that King's seat is off limits and they shouldn't field an opponent.  King and Israel are friends and I believe their districts are next to each other.

Actually, my sister told me yesterday thatshe heard this but I want to see how voters feel about King's support of the Irish Republican Army, a terrorist organization.

Never be afraid to voice your opinion and fight for it . Corporations aren't people, they're Republicans (Rev Al Sharpton 10/7/2011) Voting is a louder voice than a bullhorn.
