  •  People who can do nothing but emote about war... (7+ / 0-)

assume that everyone else can do nothing but emote.

The President must be "lusting for war," and not "arrived at the position that military strikes are a good idea," because the diarist didn't think his way to his position.

The entire discourse from the anti-war side has taught me a lot, but not about Syria or the merits of the policy.

      I'm from the anti-war siide. You're not? You're "pro-war"?

I'm also from the anti-strikes on Syria side, because of reasons that have been laid out plenty, and which you've seen. And I think this diary sucks.

Maybe you should check yourself, huh?

    •  Spoken from a pro-war perspective, of course. (3+ / 0-)

      It's strengthened your resolve.

      Bombs away!

People who can't even imagine that one can arrive at an opinion on a military operation on a case-by-case basis - that one must be anti-war or pro-war, categorically, without reference to the facts of individual situations, have nothing to add to any discussion.
