    Privacy is a touchy subject.
    It is, indeed; I hesitated to even reply to thsi comment.  You did "bring it up," however, so...
    Perhaps it's a heightened sense of one's integument that resists having it penetrated by anything.
    I'm curious - how does that "heightened sense" lead you away from preventive care?  It seems to me that this:
    The only thing I want is, if I get sick, is to die quickly.
    is an unlikely outcome where many diseases are concerned, particularly those which lurk undetected in the absence of what are now routine checks.

    Put bluntly: beyond suicide, you don't get to make that "just want to die quickly" call - the disease does.  Have you considered that preventive care may well put you back in control of that decision to some degree?

    If you're averse to routine checkups, I would (at least) suggest that you consider taking advantage of community health screenings (e.g. vision, blood pressure, etc.) in your area.

    The word "parent" is supposed to be a VERB, people...
