with you are this simple minded.  Yes, very mature, indeed.

You definitely have established you are the reality based adult in the room and whatever you say goes.

Well, there's this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this, and this. For starters.

Yes, yes, I know, I know: those things are all rilly rilly different from what I said. They are. They just are. Are.

It's perfectly reasonable to doubt an administration that was so gung ho to bomb, bomb, bomb Syria that they intimidated the UN from inspecting, claimed to have incontrovertible proof, which turned out to be sketchy snooped snippets of conversations taken out of context, distorting their meaning, which was debunked once the entire transcript was seen, and then tried to press for an attack before the UN investigation was completed until the American people called 99% to 1% their Congressmen and said, NO.  Then reluctantly allowed Congress to debate and possibly vote on the AUMF, until upon seeing the votes aren't there to go to war, threatens to invade anyway without Congressional approval...

If you guys want people not to doubt you, then talk straight about this.

or children, nor is anyone implying that. What people are saying is that there is a multi-faceted geo-political tinderbox that stems from Syria and its neighbors, and that Obama might--might--be pulled to war to address several of these "national security issues." The debate is whether they affect our national security at all, or whether they just affect our allies and business interests (oil) in the region.
