  •  Late Boise greetings to Bill and all Koslanders. (8+ / 0-)

CHEERS for "normal" temps for September. Enjoying temps in the mid 80's, such a relief from the heat, and that rare time of year when mechanical cooling or heating is not needed. Nice quiet nights results in more restful sleep. And,
CHEERS/JEERS that work has begun on sidewalk installation on our semi-rural avenue. I am in a "conversation" with the Ada County Highway Division about the removal of three large shrubs recently added to the ones already "purchased" by the county, w/o compensation. The shrubs are on or near the end of our berm, and the space is needed for equipment siting. They are already scheduled to take out split rail fencing and our decorative boulders, plus other shrubs, climbing roses. I hope they find a use for the big bird nest spruce, which has taken years to reach its size. Maybe they are used by the city in their parks, and not just trashed. I will be grilling the A.C.H.D. supervisor, when he bothers to show up today, and get some answers. Meanwhile, no material removed from our berm/front yard until the aforementioned is settled. This old gal will say "Get off my yard" to any interlopers, meanwhile.  Stay weird, stay strong and don't forget to write. Love, mcmom

    I think, therefore I am. I think.
