    in my humble opinion.

I am praying for everyone's sake, that Russia and Assad are being honest brokers on this one.

I do think that we need to keep the pressure on Assad by making it clear that he needs to turn over these weapons to avoid being hit by the US.

I know that sounds very war-like, but we need to use whatever we can for leverage in this region.

If this somehow plays out where the international community gets invested in destruction of these weapons, the US will have true allies if it blows up.

We need to keep up the pressure. This could even end up helping in passage of the resolution....with the clearly stated caveat...if Assad gives them up, we do not authorize the use of force by the President.

The suggestion that Syria turn over to the U.N. its chemical weapons is the first sensible thing that's come out of Kerry's mouth in weeks.  By extension, Obama deserves credit, although I wonder why now and not before.  This entire mess has been the most poorly handled diplomatic fiasco in a long, long while.  To say I'm underawed by Kerry's performance, and by extension, again, the president's, is an understatement.
